La Grotta dei Fichi is a magnificent vacation villa located on the Amalfi Coast, set in a peaceful location and immersed in a lush tropical garden for total privacy. Designed around the sea views, and maximizing the seafront experience, La Grotta dei fichi is divided into several levels, all of which face the sea and the stunning coastline. With 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms the vacation villa accommodates up to 8 guests in great comfort.
Two wooden, living stone gates lead you to the first little panoramic terrace with chairs and table. A 70-step stair is the beginning of a route sculpted in the rock where you follow a path surrounded by a garden. In the garden you can find tropical plants perfectly integrated with the flamboyant Mediterranean scrub. From there, you can enter the inside of the Villa.
An ingenious cable car transports your luggage to the front door of the villa, leaving you free to admire the view as you approach.
From the alley, you enter a large living room with dining area. The facilities of this room are: a living stone fireplace, hi-fi stereo, satellite TV with DVD, fan, wide windows with a panoramic view on the sea. In the internal kitchen you will find a five-burner stove, an electric oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, dishwasher, kitchen utensils and a panoramic window. In the study you will find a couch with a single bed and a window with a wide view of the sea.
The bathroom also has a panoramic window on the sea.
From the living room you enter out onto the terrace, with its own dining area, an outdoor kitchen equipped with a barbecue, a wood-burning oven, a wood cooking stove and a gas cook stove with kitchen utensils. The laundry has a washing machine, an ironing set, large basin and a bathroom.
Further on the ground floor, you will find the pool (8 x 3 m) with hydro massage surrounded by two solarium areas. They are equipped with deck chairs, shower, lounge area with table and chairs in the shade of palm leaves. There is also a bar built in a cave with chairs, tables, refrigerator, hi-fi. Finally you can get to the "Pensatoio" ("Contemplation Space"), a relaxing spot with a sofa bed and a minifridge.
From the main hall down a staircase of about 10 steps you reach the lower floor consisting of a bedroom with two single beds, independent air conditioning, bathroom with WC, washbasin and fully enclosed shower, panoramic windows; a double bedroom, fireplace, independent air conditioning, bathroom with bath tub and shower, windows with view of the sea.
From the main hall up a staircase of about 10 steps you access the upper floor consisting of a living room with two single sofa beds, an office with a computer with wireless ADSL connection, independent air conditioning and a large window overlooking the sea; bathroom with shower and windows overlooking the sea; terrace with a panoramic view; air conditioned double bedroom, large sliding-glass window overlooking the sea.
From the living room of the upper floor, through a spiral staircase you enter the fitness area - which consists of a gym with fitness equipment, a sofa bed, independent air conditioning, sliding-glass windows facing the sea, sauna, large shower; bathroom; solarium terrace overlooking the Mediterranean.
